I don’t have very much going on this week and not a whole lot to say, so I’ll do a quick game review so that I get something posted. If I continue to post daily and get in the habit, I may not give up on it.
Ticket to Ride, is an XBox Live Arcade (XBLA) game, which costs 800 Microsoft points. It is based off of a Days of Wonder board game where you choose train destination tickets (ex: New York to Miami or Seattle to Denver) and there are numerous tracks in between cities. Some of the tracks are color coded, while others can be any color. The goal is to complete as many destination tickets and score more points then your opponent. This can be difficult if you have routes near one another and you are constantly being blocked. Finding alternate routes at times can be quite interesting..you might wind up going half way across the United States and cutting back to try to reach where you want to go. Overall, I’ve found it to be fairly fun and I usually try to play 2 or 3 game each night and work my way closer to the “50 Games Played” achievement.
