Last evening was the North American finals of the Championship Gamer Series on G4. Teams compete playing games such as Forza Motorsports 2, Dead or Alive 4, CounterStrike Source & FIFA 2008. It’s definitely interesting to watch, because any thoughts I ever had of considering myself even remote close to a hardcore gamer gets thrown right out the window. While it is definitely enjoyable to watch, even if I had the skills, I don’t think I would want to do anything like that because it becomes more a job than fun or at least that is the impression I get.
Big Brother 10 is starting to pick up a bit as more fighting begins – that always makes it far more interesting. My DVR is starting to pile up as I have a couple of episodes of Last Comic Standing & American Gladiators sitting on it. I think we also still have what turned out to the final episode of Vegas – that was back in February, think I should watch it soon!
